Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a dog sitter cost in Raleigh, NC?

Pricing depends on visit length, number of visits per day, and your dog’s specific needs (medication, multiple pets, etc.). Contact us for a free, no-obligation quote.

How do I find a good dog sitter near me?

Look for a sitter with real local reviews, a meet-and-greet process, clear communication, and experience with your dog’s age and temperament — not just the closest pin on a map.

Do you offer dog sitting outside of Raleigh?

Yes. In addition to Raleigh, we regularly serve Fuquay Varina, Cary, Durham, Apex, Garner, Wake Forest, Morrisville, and nearby Wake County areas.

Is drop-in dog sitting better than a kennel?

For most dogs, yes — staying in their own home reduces stress, keeps their routine intact, and avoids exposure to unfamiliar animals.

Do you offer overnight dog sitting?

No — we provide scheduled drop-in visits throughout the day rather than overnight stays. This still keeps your dog fed, exercised, and checked on regularly without a sitter staying overnight at your home check overnight pet sitting services.

Do you sit for puppies?

Yes. We offer puppy-specific visits with more frequent potty breaks and supervised playtime.

Is your dog sitting affordable?

We price competitively for the Raleigh area while keeping the same sitter for every visit — reach out for current rates.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Maria and Tony saved us! I always use Tony for grooming. He is patient, low key and wonderful with my dog who hates getting groomed. When our regular dog sitter cancelled last minute, I called Maria and they were able to fill in last minute for us. We are so appreciative of them both. Thank you Maria and Tony!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mr. Tony is amazing with animals! Our Winston gets so excited whenever he sees him. We have used Mr. Tony for years as our groomer and are thrilled that he has added more services. We will definitely be giving him a call for sitting services.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Finding a pet sitter you can truly trust is no small feat, but Raleigh Trusted Pet Sitting has completely set a new standard for excellence. Their level of professionalism and genuine affection for animals is unparalleled. The most impressive aspect of the experience was their unwavering dependability. I never once had to worry about whether my two dogs were being looked after. They were incredibly timely, arriving exactly as scheduled and sending detailed updates, including photos that instantly put my mind at ease. Beyond the logistics, the warmth and care Maria showed was truly comforting and reassuring. I could see in the photos that my dogs weren't just being "watched"—they were being engaged, played with, and loved. They treated my home with the utmost respect and my pets like members of their own family. If you are looking for a service that combines punctuality, reliability, and a deep-seated love for animals, look no further. I cannot recommend Raleigh Trusted Pet Sitting highly enough and will certainly be booking them for all my future travels. They are, quite simply, the best in the business.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Tony has shown great care with grooming my previous cavachon and my current little senior rescue! Fraggle is prepared to fight all veterinary staff, but just grumbles through grooming with Tony, which is a compliment! Tony has a great demeanor and genuine caring for his doggy customers!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. One of my clients recommended Top Dog to me for my mini schnauzers. That was 4 years ago and we couldn’t be happier. My pups always look amazing and look forward to grooming day. May dogs never seem stressed out and that makes us happy. You can trust Tony to do a great job….and the price is right too.
